It’s official… Boo loves me!
Now this isn’t news to anyone probably as I am his mom. But, being his mother does not ensure that he loves me or will love me in the future. That is why in my quest to be the G.M.O.A.T I appreciate every “I love you” from my baby.
It’s one thing to get an I love you too (as we all know as adults that phrase is just thrown around nowadays). But that unprovoked, unexpected I love you; in the midst of his being a toddler, joys my heart.
I don’t have all the answers right now and I do not expect to. The past 3 1/2 years teaches me everyday that there is more to learn. I will say from the constant hugs, I love you, I want my mommy, and smiles I think I am doing alright.
Of course people tell me that I am a great mom, the best mom ever , I’m doing a great job, etc, etc. And I appreciate it all as they love me and know how I am as a mom.
But… Boo is who I do this for. For him to think that I am the Greatest Mom of All Time is what matters (now and for the rest of his life).
